the best way to study d2k is Oracle D2k help menu. All the things with example will be there....

Go to http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/forms.html. Find 'Guidelines for Building Applications' and 'Form Builder Reference'. Download them. Enjoy.

Go to http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/index.html for other forms material.
