sir i have form whene in query mode no user edit record if user want to edit then the system first demand edit password if password right then unlock or enable then text item or give edit whay

how sir i ristric my user

pleas give me idea

Make your fields 'update' disabled. Then when they press the 'change' button you ask for password. If password is okay then you use the Set_Item_Property or Set_Item_Instance_Property commands to make the item or field 'updatable'. Search this forum for 'updatable' to find other people asking this question.
