I have installed Oracle 9i on windows 2000 and service pack 4.
I have installed Oracle 9i Database and it is working fine.

Problem with forms 6i and reports 6i.

I have installed forms 6i and reports 6i campatable for windows 2000.
Installation went successfully there are no errors.
I have copied tnsnames from Oracle 9i Database folder to Forms 6i forms folder.

When I try to access database objects from forms it is throughing "Illegal operation and program need to be close".

I feel problem exist because Database and forms are working on same system. and two Homes are working on same system. I dont know exact reason.

I have tried in XP Prof it is giving same error.

Please help in resolving this problem.

if db and forms are installed in different homes, there should be no problem.

can you connect to database with sql*plus?
