can anyone tell me that how can i run the .csv file format through forms.

What do you want to do with it? CSV files are usually used by Oracle's SQL*Loader utility to load data from external files into an Oracle table.

If this is what you'd like to do, write a control file and, using HOST command in Forms, call SQL*Loader and it'll do it.

But, if you had something else in mind, I guess this won't help much.

Search this forum for 'csv', the question has been asked before (most people use 'utl_file' or 'text_io').
